Check out this screw top that makes a Mason jar into a cocktail shaker. Now that’s the way to make a Southern drink. Or any kind of drink.
It’s by two Virginia boys living in Brooklyn, NYC. My kind of people.

I’ve been one to stay fairly in tune with social media and recently I’ve noticed a large boom in the size and reach of networks. My fascination has gone from being an occasional tweeter and Facebook checker to a having a broad range of networks all interlinked. It is not an obsession but merely an interest to see how much people rely on social networks to stay in touch. Call it a study if you will, an exploration of the limited connectivity people have in today’s society and how they use their smart phones as their number one resource of communication. So now I’m dabbling in some new networks, allowing some older ones to maintain themselves being that they are well established. Social networking is not a fad, it is a social shift in communication. How do you keep in touch?
